My name is Alec Gall. I'm 25 years old and I grew up in Greensburg Pennsylvania. I spend most of my free time playing video games with my beautiful wife who I met in World of Warcraft over 5 years ago. When I'm not playing video games I'm usually working on a web project or obsessing over how cute my cats are.

My biggest hobby is gaming. Video games have been a major part of my life and who I am since I was in kindergarten. My favorite games to play are MMOs. I've spent the most time in World of Warcraft and Runescape over the years. I love a ton of different genres though from FPS to RTS to RPG to Racing/Sim games. I like them all really!

Outside of that, I wouldn't call myself a "car guy" but I'm at least a bit of a car enthusiast! In 2018 I achieved one of my life goals of getting a Ford Mustang. Mustangs have been my favorite cars for just about my entire life and I have always wanted one.

I attended Penn State Behrend in Erie PA from 2013-2017 and graduated with a major in Management Information Systems (MIS). 

The MIS major was a combination of business classes and various IT related classes such as C++, Database Management, and an intro to Web Development course which is where I found out how much I enjoyed Web Development and Design. 

The professor of my Web Development course at Penn State, Dr. Noce, saw my passion for Web Development and Design and offered me a job making websites for local non profit organizations through her organization, Partnership Erie. When I started at Partnership Erie I knew only the absolute basics of HTML and CSS and was tasked to learn everything I needed to know to make good websites for clients.

I learned a vast majority of what I know by working with friends, experimenting with new technologies, and following tutorials online. After I finished school I found a passion in web development and set out to learn everything that I could and start my own business, Apex Web solutions LLC.
